The holiday season is fast approaching, and we’re excited to announce this year’s (new & improved) Renaissance Park Holiday Lights Contest! It’s time to break out your decorations and bring the neighborhood to life with festive lights and creative displays. Whether you prefer a classic holiday look or a fun and festive approach, there’s a category for everyone!
ALL-NEW CONTEST CATEGORIES
FOR SINGLE FAMILY HOMES
Traditional Holiday Charm: Celebrating homes with timeless and elegant holiday décor that captures the warmth of the season.
Best Yard Display: Highlighting the most creative and festive yard decorations, with an emphasis on unique displays (not focused on lights on the house).
Best Door and Entryway: Recognizing beautifully decorated front doors, porches, or entryways that create a welcoming holiday atmosphere.
FOR TOWNHOMES
Traditional Holiday Charm: Celebrating townhomes that embrace a classic, traditional holiday look.
Best Door and Entryway: Focusing on festive front doors and porches that make the most of limited space.
Best Window Display: Showcasing creative and festive window decorations that spread holiday cheer to the neighborhood.
OPTIONAL CATEGORY FOR ANY HOME
KID’S CHOICE AWARD!!! Let the kids decide! This category is for displays that bring joy, fun, and magic to our youngest residents, whether in single-family homes or townhomes.

Register: Sign up by December 11th. You can register your home in one category, plus the Kid’s Choice Award if you’d like! (Or just the Kid’s Choice category if you want)
Judging: Judging will take place from Dec. 12 – 18, and winners will be announced on December 19th.
Prizes: Winners will receive a holiday ornament and a “Winner” Yard Sign to display through the holidays.

WHAT ELSE IS NEW THIS YEAR?
Contestants will receive a yard sign with a contestant number and a QR code for voting. The signs will be a fun way to let everyone know you’re participating in the contest! The QR code will link to the voting site for easy access.
A separate voting site will be set up for the Kid’s Choice category. We hope families will take time to walk through the neighborhood with their kids, and then parents can help their children vote for their favorite holiday display. Look for the QR code that says “KIDS VOTE HERE”!
